School is back...

Since my piano lessons are starting up again, I will begin working on my pieces that I "dropped" during the break. Some I'm still continuing to work on, but i have started a few more since my last update:
1. "Warsaw Concerto" by Richard Addinsell
2. "Sonata No.8 in C minor" by Beethoven (the second movement, and just started the third)
3. "Sonata No. 21 in C major" also by Beethoven (I really like this piece, listen to it on youtube)
4. "Ballades op.10 No.1 movement 1" by Brahms
5. and the "Polonaise in C Minor" by Chopin.

I've also sparked interest in playing the guitar (again), so I've been playing around on it lately.

Christmas music

For the Christmas season I've been playing from a book entitled "Christmas at the Keyboard with Mark Hayes". There are some great arrangements of Carols in this book, perhaps my favorite so far being his arrangement of "O Come, O Come, Emanuel". The songs aren't all that difficult, but some would require a bit of practice to master.

???

I found this in the "Warsaw Concerto" by R. Addinsell. For those of you who read music or play an instrument, I give you:

your guess is as good as mine...

Here is a list of a few pieces I'm working on for piano right now:

Chopin's "Polonaise in A major"
"Warsaw Concerto" (the piano part itself) by Richard Addinsell,
and Beethoven's good ol' Sonata no.8 in C minor.
I had never heard of Richard Addinsell until I picked this piece up just a few weeks ago. It's a cool piece, difficult to learn, but I like the sound of it so far.
